Only Connect
Build bridges not barriers and not barriers to bridges.
Build bridges over walls.
Build bridges from a narrow mind to a world of potential.
Build arcs of energy and empathy.
I interviewed Legs Larry Smith so named by his friend George Harrison of the Beatles who wrote a song about him. In the cover pic below he stands on the High Bridge in University Parks. He was of working class origin (in Oxford) and the bridge to his career with the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band and dancing in a tutu performing with Elton John was Art College. There are bridges in Oxford and there are walls The walls keep out the ‘Town’ and keep in the students but the bridges they span Town and Gown and County . BRIDGES CONNECT .
