Theresa May is right in saying Islamist attacks have one thing in common : an evil ideology. Silence as to where that ideology came from is to continue despite the government having the facts at their fingertips. Karren Brady on the Today programme said it is better to work with our friends ie, Saudi Arabia. She also implied that the money from Saudi spreading its Wahhabist version of Islam is irrelevant because these attacks don’t need much money.  Theresa May was right;  it is not easy to change states of mind but that is what we have to do in order to beat Isis! The danger of not naming the source(s) Saudi and Pakistan is obvious. All the 9/ 11 attackers were SAUDI but Bush blamed Saddam Hussein, a secular dictator hated by the Islamists. Now the dangerous propaganda is directed at Iran who is no threat to us but is a threat to Isis. Is our government falling for Saudi brainwashing?  The West supported the jihadist in Afghanistan (against the Russians) out of which came Al-Qaida and rained money on Pakistan who created the Taliban and where a large proportion of our jihadists have been radicalised and trained.  Our military interventions have created safe places for extremists and did NOT changed hearts and minds. We must be honest if we are to have any chance of winning the battle of the minds!
