What a brilliant interview! As a humble freelance writer I was privileged that Chris (Lord) Patten of Barnes and Chancellor of Oxford University agreed to be interviewed by me. His castaway story is in Oxford Castaways 2. There is more substance to Peter Hennessy’s interview but  there was more fun in mine! Lyn Dawn kindly translated my feature on Chris Patten into mandarin. He said that his 5 years in Hong Kong were the most memorable in his life.  You can read my interview here. Chris patten

You can still get copies of Oxford Castaways 1 and 2 from me or from Oxfordfolio  but I believe Oxford Castaways 3 is sold out . The remaining copies of OC1 and 2 can be half price now the series is ended.

There is news concerning another castaway Joanna Harrison is directing  ‘The Tiger Who Came to Tea’ and what a cast of voices including Dominic Cumberbatch and David Walliams she has acquired! Joanna designed the cover of Oxford Castaways 2 and is one of the castaways in that edition. Weimin He designed the cover of the first book and his story is in that one. Qu Leilei who inspired  Brushstrokes in Time is in Oxford Castaways 3
